Background

PredictIT offers a way of dimensioning the human and financial resources available to the project alongside the main management parameters of the development project. This helps the project manager to initiate a viable project plan and to negotiate the project price in a contractual situation.
A 'housekeeping' facility helps the estimator estimate a group of projects. One of the challenges of estimation is the incompleteness of available project information. PredictIT supports the estimator through this difficulty as it can estimate missing information. Measured project information may be substituted when it becomes available. An early estimate can then be progressively refined until the acceptable estimate accuracy is reached.
