Telmaco is proud to offer a range of services on the instruction of the use of the MeterIT tool family. Telmaco services aim at helping users in deploying and putting the tools MeterIT-Cosmic, MeterIT-Project, and PredictIT into efficient use. There is also an on-line access to MeterIT-Cosmic Support, free for licenced users. Telmaco intends to extend at a later date a similar on-line support for MeterIT-Project and PredictIT. |

MeterIT-Cosmic Support
This support is provided in the style of "the most Frequently Asked Questions by MeterIT-Cosmic users". The collection of items of support is focused on how to use MeterIT-Cosmic in order to be conformant to the standard as described in the COSMIC Method Manual. They will inevitably include clarifications on the standard as well. This section is a service open to licenced MeterIT-Cosmic users only. Deployment of the MeterIT Tool suit The deployment of the MeterIT tool suit is usually straightforward. But as these tools will evolve in complexity to follow the needs of the metrics analyst we have to expect that certain situations will present issues to be supported. These issues will be analysed and remedied in this Section when it become necessary.

Coaching on using MeterIT-Cosmic It happen that user of MeterIT-Cosmic want to be fluent with this tool as early as possible and not ready to accept an inevitable self-learning period. To shorten the learning process Telmaco offers a one day coaching session using MeterIT-Cosmic on the Client's measurement issue. This coaching is delivered in the Client's premises for groups of up to 8 participants maximum. Naturally it is recommended to have attended a COSMIC training course in order to get full benefit from this coaching session. |

Telmaco is a member of a Community of Practice which is specialised in software metric. This community has developed and is offering a series of training courses related to software measurement and project estimation and an experienced set of skills and talents. Telmaco can draw from this community the optimum set of talents appropriate to meet customer 's need. |

COSMIC Training Course This is a tutorial on COSMIC delivered in 2 days in the Client's premises and followed after a period of practice by a workshop of one day where we examine and solve problems encountered by the participants.

Measurement Audit Measurement Audit is carried out where the Client needs to certify adherence to the COSMIC standard and accuracy of the results. This often occurs in the case of outsourcing where the measurement is done by the supplier and the Customer wants to be sure of the software size because it conditions the commercial agreement between both parties. |
